PostSubject: Character Center script   Mon Mar 06, 2017 8:06 am

Users are required to add a topic introducing their characters before they can roleplay. To ensure the best experience for every member, it is necessary that each user fills in the following script, depending the character they're introducing.

For human characters:
Code:
Name:

Age:

Rank:

Gender:

Personality:

Positive traits:

Negative traits:

Appearance:

History:

STATS

Strength: 0/10

Defense: 0/10

Stamina: 0/10

Intelligence: 0/10

Speed: 0/10

Total: 30

For cat characters:
Code:
Name:

Age in years:

Age in months:

Gender:

Clan:

Rank:

Personality:

Positive traits:

Negative traits:

Appearance:

History:

STATS

Strength: 0/10

Defense: 0/10

Hunting: 0/10

Speed: 0/10

Cleverness: 0/10

Total: 30

How to fill the script

Simply copypaste the previous into your post. Make sure you didn't miss anything. The title of your topic should be "(username)'s characters". A synonym to the word characters is allowed, however posts named "My characters" or similar will be overlooked.
So will posts that contain the specific names of each character.
Also, each topic must be in the right subforum. A user may only have one topic in each subforum, and if adding a new character is required, they must reply to their own post. If the user decides to create a new topic instead, their character won't be accepted and the topic will be sent to the Basket without previous notice.

Name refers to how you as a narrator and how other people should refer to your character. If you desire to add a nickname, you can add a new category or just add it in the name.
For humans, please include last name as well. First name, middle name and last name in that order must be included.
For cats, include past, present and future names. If you only have the prefix decided, you will be asked to notify the staff if any changes happen.

Age refers to how old is your character present time. A human can live up to eighty (80) years, while a wild cat may only live for seven (7). This does not refer to real life years, but it's up to the user to decide when their roleplay is happening, and how much time is passing.
It is expected, however, that a human character dies of old age after three or four years have passed, and a cat after one or two (in real life time).

Gender refers to the gender they were born with. Basically, their physical gender. If your character refers to themselves as something else, you may add a new characteristic to the list, but bear in mind this will be rare within cat characters and the staff will limit the amount allowed.

Clan refers to which Clan they live in. Unless your cat is a prisoner, they will only appear under their own Clan subforum. Posting in another subforum is allowed and, even if the owner specified a private roleplay, any member from the corresponding Clan can join to kick the intruder out.

Rank refers to, in cat characers, whether they are warriors, apprentices, etc.
In humans, it refers to how high they are in hirearchy, with Royalty being the highest and Unproductive being the lowest. Your character can be a criminal, NEET, guard, middle class, student, etc.

Personality is split in two. Positive traits refers to good things about your character, but these are limited to their personality. Being a "skilled fighter" is not a positive trait of personality, and it won't be taken into account. Examples would be: being kind, cooperative, hard-worker, creative, etc.

Likewise, Negative traits refers to bad things about your character. Make sure to keep this balanced; leaving one of them blank is not acceptable.
Examples can be: being jealous, temperamental, rude, uncaring, selfish, etc.

Personality refers to how they are overall, or their common mood. It is preferred that users elaborate on this aspect, without using a list to describe them. This is only a way to evaluate each user's writing skills, and a sort of second introduction to the forum, now as a roleplayer.

Appearance of course refers to how your character looks. Please remember, adding pictures is not allowed unless it was drawn by yourself or for you, as this counts as art theft. If this isn't the case, the user will be asked to describe them with words. However, if you provide a picture that is, in fact, yours, it is required to post it under a spoiler tag, and with proof that you can use it. Remember that human characters don't always wear the same clothes, so it's preferred you aren't detailed in this aspect if a picture isn't included. However, saying how they usually dress is acceptable (ex: he almost always wears black).
Cats won't have specific breeds. Saying that they look like a specific breed is acceptable, but not actually being one.

History is entirely optional, the user is not forced to complete this characteristic. This refers to the backstory of your character, their past experiences, from their childhood to the present time. Additionally, you can add what motivates them, what makes them who they are. It is required that the backstory makes sense with how the character is.

The user may add any extra information they need for their character if necessary. However, taking away information or leaving some blank will cause the staff to reject your character until it's fixed.
